One measure of the excitement of the new game is that GTA DS has been searched for more than 20,000 times per month on Google since it was announced in the summer of 2008. A game with this much interest is sure to fly off the shelves and will more than likely head straight into the all time top 10 Nintendo DS best sellers list. Because of this it is very likely to sell out quickly (likely from orders alone) so if you want to get your hands on the game before anyone else, order now.

Since it was announced at last year’s E3, GTA Chinatown Wars DS has been amongst the most anticipated Nintendo DS games to be released this year. One reason that it is so highly anticipated is that the Grand Theft Auto series is one of the most popular in video gaming history. Another reason is that unlikely almost every other DS game, GTA DS is aimed squarely at the adult market, making it a breath of fresh air after all the cutesy games that are standard on the Nintendo DSi console.

The levels of excitement over GTA Chinatown Wars DS are so high they nearly match the excitement and controversy which surrounded the original released of Grand Theft Auto on PC. The adult themes in GTA DS range from drug dealing to prostitution and murder. It is certainly a far cry from Imagine: Teacher.
